Kick-off Headis bij Sportplaza Zuiderpark

Last Sunday, April 16th, finally Headis was kicking off in the Netherlands. During the sports season opening of ‘Thuis op straat’ in Sportplaza Zuiderpark were various associations and sports together to present themselves. Of course Headis NL was there!

At the best spot in the park we showed ourselves with new tables of our supplier and partner Heemskerk Sport, but also with beautiful banners and beach flags. And certainly not to be missed there were nice rallies and demonstrations of our players from Germany, Marcus (WR2) and Eric. Hundreds of visitors were introduced this Easter Sunday to Headis!

News in 2017: Headis in Rotterdam

In the year 2017 you can practise urban sport ‘Headis’ at Sportplaza Zuiderpark in Rotterdam. In addition, from the kick-off in April there will be weekly offerings by ‘Thuis op Straat’ of the city of Rotterdam. More information about them can be found here.

Of course when you hear the word ‘Headis’ you don’t know exactly what that is. Actually it’s playing table tennis with your head and a small football. Uh, get it? Well, these are all great things from different sports and it is really cool to play. It often gets you spectacular rallies, even if you started playing only recently!
